Compensation and benefits packages include:
Annual salary (hiring range): $70,000 - $90,000 (subject to the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications and skills), plus annual Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP) bonus.
Health Benefits Plan, including Extended Health, Dental & Vision coverage, Basic Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Benefits and Employee Assistance Programs. Premiums are paid by the company, with the exception of LTD premium.
Defined benefit pension plan, with the company’s contribution ranging from 6% to 8% to provide employees with a predictable lifetime retirement income, survivor benefits, early retirement options.
Hybrid work environment for those who live within 50km of our Head Office. Remote arrangements can be made for those living farther away, with some exceptions.

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Data Analyst who will lead the development, support and management of data-driven insights across our client and financial platforms.
The position will report to the Vice-President, Business Technology, with duties that include designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics that support strategic understanding and decision-making across sales, marketing, operations and technology. The Data Analyst will be accountable to provide financial and non-financial reports/analysis to the organization that is accurate, timely and insightful.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Data Analysis, Business Insights & Sales Reporting
Collaborating with internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Compliance to translate business insight requirements into technical solutions.
Partnering with different teams regarding reporting procedures and/or discrepancies to establish controls and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reports.
Designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports to support business operations and strategic initiatives, as well as analyzing data from different systems to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Automating recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Managing enterprise-wide sales reporting in the system.
Data Management & Optimization
Maintaining and managing data management strategies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Supporting data governance and quality initiatives across the organization.
Project Management
Collaborating with development partners and internal departments to implement solutions and ensure timely completion of projects.
Communicating progress and status updates to internal departments (as needed) and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Business or Economics or relevant experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst and/or Business Analyst role within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of wealth management and related processes.
Experience in Salesforce and proficiency in its capabilities, data structures, objects and relationships, FSC reporting tools.
Achievement or working towards Salesforce and Financial Services Cloud Certification is required.
Strong Power BI and Excel skills with the ability to learn business technology applications.
Strong analytical, written and documentation skills.
Strong communication skills, strong team player, self-starter and ability to provide training to staff.
